tested on Nicholas and Seidemann on Country Cousin. With total marks of
189 and points of 63 (93/7, 96/7), Hand ended the competition in seventh
place. "I felt OK out there," shared Hand. "I would like to have had a
better ride. I need to be a little more forward but I think the musical
portion on Saturday will be great. Nicholas isn't used to all of this
dressage training and after a week of training they tend to get tired. I
think going into that main arena might pick him up a bit." Immediately
following her in the standings was Seidmann who finished with 169 marks and
56.33 marks (83/8, 86/8). This afternoon, Grade IV dressage began at the
equestrian venue. Americans Kebbie Cannon (Mineral Springs, N.C.) and
Robin Brueckmann (Wilmington, Del.) competed on their drawn horses, Duke
Ahbundy for Brueckmann and S.B. New Idea for Cannon. Brueckmann finished
ahead of Cannon placing 13th in the field of 20. Her points and marks were

"I had a great ride. He was nervous at the start, then he settled down and
was fine." Cannon ended the day's test in 19th place after making two
errors on course. Her total marks were 521 and her total points were 57.88
