I saw a video of Jazz, still a 3 year old stallion, 2 days before he was
to go to auction at the elite World Cup sale. My leg was in a cast, broken in a freak
accident when my Grand Prix horse Curtain Call fell on me at the walk! Although I had been
looking for an older horse, I just knew Jazzman was the horse for me. I bought him over
the phone -- and the rest is history.
I hope my "making the team" at age 51 will show other
"chronologically challenged" individuals that with persistence and a great
horse, you are never too old to achieve your dreams.

Donna
Donna has dual careers to support her
dressage. She is an Emergency Room physician at a member hospital where she says the
ER is not as exciting as the television series - "No sex in the closets".
Because the ER is free to members, it provides "available medical care" with ear
aches, colds and broken bones the routine.
Donna is also the published author of
a mystery novel, Any Number Can Die, unfortunately currently out of print.
Jazzman is a 7 year old, Dutch
warmblood gelding that Donna has trained herself. Their first separation was when
she put him on the plane for Gladstone. "Tears were rolling down....he's the apple of
my eye." Jazz also loves apples, carrots and "If it's not nailed down,
he'll eat it."
