Ltd [Riders with Disabilities] Bradshaw Challenge Freestyles
Five riders with disabilities presented freestyles with borrowed horses at
The Festival. Mary Green & Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody were first with a lively,
forward, ride to "Tequila".

Barbara earned her berth on the US Equestrian Team for Hickstead and won

07/02 US Developing Rider Tour Team to Compete at Hickstead
The four horses flew charter to Amsterdam on Monday and all arrived safely.
Hickstead is July 8-13.
The GP test was weighted 40% and the GP qualifer average (after dropping
the lowest score if the pair competed in more than the two required qualifiers) was
weighted 60%. The combined weighted score placed Cherri Reiber, 1st; Kathleen Raine,
2nd; Michael Barisone, 3rd; and Barbara Silverman, 4th. Christine Traurig was 5th and
earned a training grant to Europe which she will use this fall.
Ky may be scribing (scribe appeared so I was
"security") and flies home at 6:30. Typical travel snafus couldn't
diminish the fun of Gladstone. Got home at noon on Monday & will start adding
the results, reports and photos.
6/26 Saturday
Results
Cherri Reiber and G Tudor won the USET GPS, 66.744 with Kathleen Raine and
Fidelia a close second at 64.744. Sunday's GPKur will determine the National
Champion
Barbara Silverman and Chantor de Bonce put in an energetic, forward test that
brought endless applause and whistles from the crowd!
Jessica Rizzi & Weston, 63.946 to win all 3 Junior tests! Lovely ride
with a loose curb rein
RG Wilson and Durban took the FEI YR Team Test, 63.744
Riders un Ltd - Riders with Disabilities
"catch" rode horses in the freestyle class -- their part of the Bradshaw
Challenge. Mary Green of Jackson, Michigan riding 8 year old Russian Warmblood
gelding Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody (Rochy) won with an energetic, forward, perfect fit music,
Tequila and Tiajuana Brass including a couple of flying changes.
6/26 Barbara
Silverman rides the GPS Saturday afternoon - 7 weeks after cancer surgery.

Thanks to all of you who have show such love and support to the most inspirational person
I know. She rides tomorrow at 2:15 in the Grand Prix Special. If you're not with us at
Gladstone please take a moment and send an energetic thought.

competitors. Steffen was delighted at the email from Udon, Shelly Francis'

6/25 Met Hope Hand and watched the Riders un
Ltd (with disabilities) practicing for their freestyles in the Bradshaw Challenge tomorrow
about noon. The riders are "catch" riding -- on borrowed horses they only met at
Gladstone the past few days. It was a joy to watch -- flying changes were perfect.
Complete report and photos tomorrow. A lovely chestnut quarter horse mare got
a special treat from me.

FEI JR Team Test - Jessica Rizzi & Weston, 67.314!
Open PSG - Bernie aka BK4Leg assisted Sherree Cushner & 18 year
old Zenit aka Z even complete with Team Zenit cap!
Intermediaire 1- Debbie McDonald and Brentina had another super
test- 70.615. Donna Richardson and Jazzman put in a no-mistake, solid, ride to move
into 2nd place. (report by Wendy Insinger)
It is still anyone's game for the Pan Am team. Saturday is a rest day and
Sunday is the Freestyle to determine the top 4 and alternate.
6/24 Mares won both the PSG
& Grand Prix. Brentina with Debbie McDonald in the PSG & Fidelia with
Kathleen Raine in the GP. Complete results
6/23 Vet Jog -- every horse
passed except Linda Oliver and Trond who were unable to make the jog. Vet Jog Photos

eliminates many trees, the joys of travel -- my luggage hasn't arrived <G> - came in
at 1:00 a.m.! Had a delightful evening with Stacey and her parents and her father in
